AND THE WINNER IS...

Hi Girls,

So Yesterday my giveaway ended and i have only gotten round to sort out the winner :)

I used www.random.org to generate my winner -
there were 5 pages of entries, so i used random.org to pick a random number (between 1 and 5), then i painstakingly counted up how many entries were on this page and also entered them into random.org, which gave me a random number and from that number is used it to count to this entry :)
..blah!

Onto the good news for a lucky follower.....

 The Winner is..........

Its only a small giveaway, but i plan to have a big one when i reach either 1000 or 1500, which could happen soonish :)

    The prize consists of -
    1. Sleek Divine palette

    Lush Haul :)

    Hope your all doing well!

My problem with blogging about lush goodies, is that i always intend to do a little review or haul on their products but by the time i get round to doing it i have no products left! :(
Its just too easy to use up all their products! I really do think Lush is one of those 'no regrets' companies in the sense that, when i buy something i know im going to use completely, unlike makeup when i take notions for things!

I haven't blogged about lush before and i think its about time i do, i use their products on a daily basis and have some to 'rave' about... and others not so much.

I find that occasionally in this beauty blogging field that once a brand becomes well liked that sometimes people assume all their products are great - when usually thats not the case, i think every brand has their stand out products but have a number of let downs. I think Lush is becoming one of  those brands that people only ever say good things about, call me a septic but i have tried a number of products that lie in the "will not be purchasing again" category in my brain!

Here we go, the recent purchases,
I think i must go in every week now!
Another new years resolution - dont go shopping as much!

-Another chunk of 'RockStar' soap, this piece is pretty big but was the cheapest chunk already cut, i believe it was £3-4 which i didnt think was right, normally a chunk that size is in and around £5-6. Oh well, im not complaining.
    -'Vanilla Fountian' Bath Ballistic
    -'Shimmy Shimmy' Massage bar
    - and from the Christmas collection 'Cinders' Bath Ballistic

I hadn't been to lush since before christmas and when in last week and was shocked to see that nothing was on sale - no deals- nada! What ever happened to january sales!? Did the Belfast Lush store have any promotions on that i might have missed?

I also have a contest!! Which i will put up later on today! I went into superdrug and riverisland to get a few goodies - its only going to be a small giveaway becuase i plan to do a big one when i hit 1000.
Please enter and hopefully you'll win
    xoxo

    Clynol Rave!

    Woho! First Review in Ages!

*FTC- haha yes, i was sent these products by a PR company, nope im not bein paid for this review and YES this is my honest opinion!!*
(FTC what a load of balls!)

I was sent these clynol products a few weeks ago. I like to play around with products before i review them so i can fully review them and get to know the ins and outs of the products.

I've never tried nor heard of clynol before i was approached to review some products. So i immediately did a google search and a few blogger reviews appeared, all the reviews i had read were all very positive and it seems everyone who has tried their stuff all had good things to say. I could hardly pass the opportunity and im so glad i did! My hair has been in amazing condition from using these products! Friends and family have even noticed and complemented me on how shiny my hair is.

First product in the white is in the Repair range and is called Careless Spilt End Serum (£9.67)
This product is definitely a 'must have' if your someone like myself who doesn't go to the hairdresser often! I know that if you get your hair cut regularly it improves the condition and helps it grow better, but im so stubborn i never want it cut because i dont want my hair any shorter. Which gives me horrendous spilt ends! I put this treatment in wet hair just before i blow dry - so i use it every other day. Over the past few weeks i've noticed the reduced appearance of my spilt ends and that they aren't so straw like. The serum seems to been making them softer and less noticable - result! The only downer about this product is that i love it so much and would definately repurchase, BUT i haven't a clue were i can pick up another one? I haven't seen it being sold in boots or any other chemist!? That goes with saying that i dont know where to buy any of these clynol products.

The bottle in the middle is in the Fix range and is called the Animator Finishing Spray (£8.25)
On a night out a strong hairspray for back combing is essential!  I have used SO many hairsprays claiming to have 'extra strong hold' but within a few hours fall flat. This is by far the strongest hold hairspray ever. The other night a few of my friends used it and couldn't believe how firm their hair felt. The downside to this product is the smell, it smells really funny like childrens glue paste or something. Its also quite unusual for a hairspray to not be an aerosol can, this one is just like any other spray bottle which works really well for back coming as you only need one pump.... it also doesn't ruin the atmosphere :) whey!

The last product is in the smooth range and is called Silky Frizz-Free Serum (£9.50)
The product claims to make your hair frizz free which i didnt really notice because i dont have frizzy hair but it did make it really shiny. (more like unbelievably shiny!) I seriously cant get over this one! You only need one pump for regular length hair but i use two because my hair is quite long. When i pump it out i rub it over my hand and run my fingers through the mid-lengths. It initally makes the hair look greasy but wait a few minutes and then its so shiny and soft. (in dry hair that is, after blow drying and before straightening). Out of the three, i would seriously recommend this!

    Thanks!

    Update and a 'Rave'

    Hello Lovelies

Its been a few months since i last blogged, i really have been MIA , you could say. Im going to buckle down around the holidays and hopefully have a post up everyday or so. I think i needed a break from the beauty community for a while, i realized i was getting too obsessed etc and needed to focus on other things apart from beauty products.

In getting back into the swing of things, i wanted to share with you a product i have been using everyday since i bought it - Benefit's Powderazzi
I believe it came out with Benefits holiday sets. Although i wasn't buying it in mind of giving it to someone as a present.

After watching everyone here on beauty blogs and on YT videos raving about Benefit's Coralista blush, i decided i 'had to have it'. So when i was browsing the Benefit counter before going to see New Moon (gasps!) and saw this little baby, with Coralista and two bronzers (Hoola and Dallas), i jumped at it!

Its the perfect pallette/box for the cheek! I love using Coralista as a blush and mixing it up between Hoola and Dallas as a contour.

Im also really impressed with the quality of the box set. I had bought the full size Thrrrob blush and the pigmentation of it is just painfull, great for a very very subtle flush but really nothing much more! These beauties in comparison, have good pigmentation and blend easily.

I thought i should share in the festivities and show you my christmas tree :)
....i decorated it myself this year.
One of my dad's business partners always sends us a tree at christmas time and always manages to get us the best shaped one. Look at the lack of christmas presents!

Also, i dont think i've introduced you guys to my other dog, paddy?
anyways i was trying to take a picture of him under the table, haha think he's a bit bothered by the flash eh?
Paddy is the stupidest dog ever!! Dim as a post! -but we absolutely love him to pieces, he's the eldest of the two dogs, coming 15 and for a wide set lab, he's doing good!

    New Moon Thoughts

If you havent seen New Moon yet, please dont read this unless you want to know what happens!
    Common Sense :)

I should start by saying im not a twilight fan... yet i went to see the midnight preview on Thursday night!

I thought that twilight (first one) was a good film but didn't live up to the hype - new moon on the other hand was leaps and bounds better, because i wasn't a a twilight fan i really wanted to hate this movie, in the end i really liked it. I think the hype with twilight surrounds Robert Pattenson, he didnt appear very much in this movie and yet he was always in the back of your mind throughout.

The beginning of the movie was very slow to progress into the story line. The acting improved as the movie continued, i can quite put my finger on what was strange about the acting at the beginning, it just felt a bit awkward from the audience point of view. Unfortunately because the acting wasn't up to scratch in the beginning, scenes that were supposed to be romantic/serious ended up comic, the actors couldnt handle the cheesey lines and the audience could definitely feel the awkwardness and just laughed - not the intended reaction. For example on Bella's birthday and Jacob turns up with the long hair and gives her a dream catcher for her nightmares, everyone in the cinema i was in were laughing hysterically.

For me the likability of this movie was solely down the Kirsten Stewart and Taylor Lautner. Kirsten gets ablot of stick for her careless attitude toward fame and that side of being a successful actress, i dont think she gets enough credit for her acting which for me was the best in this movie.

Taylor Lautner, what can i say....
I almost fainted at the sight of him half naked, in the rain and in demin shorts...my oh my!
The body on that boy, is quite remarkable. The posters and advertisements for new moon showing him topless are a fraction in comparison to seeing him in the movie. Lautner really took the Twilight saga up a notce and i cant wait for the next one! :) Team Jacob indeed!!

Are you Team Edward or Jacob?
